Questions before you book

Straight answers about experience level, firing, and what to wear to a sculptural clay session.

Do I need experience?
No for intro sessions. Intensives assume you can wedge and make a basic join; if you are unsure, start with the three-hour intro.

Is this a pottery shop for cups and plates?
No. We teach handbuilding for sculptural form. You may make a vessel, but tableware production is not our curriculum.

When do I take work home?
Bone-dry pieces stay for bisque. Glazed work leaves after the second firing and a cool-down period. Timelines depend on kiln loads — usually two to four weeks after a course ends.

Can children attend?
Workshops are designed for adults 16+. Private family sessions can be discussed by email.

What should I wear?
Clothes that tolerate clay, closed shoes, and hair tied back near the kiln corridor. Aprons are provided.

How do payments work?
We confirm a seat, then send deposit instructions in euros. See pricing for current fees.
