These images document how work moves through Rooks Clunked Clay: soft clay under the hand, tools ready for refinement, bisque waiting for surface decisions, and fired pieces that keep the memory of building. Student work varies; the shared thread is handbuilt construction rather than thrown ware.

We photograph process as carefully as finished sculpture because a coil wall or kiln shelf often teaches more than a polished product shot. Look for compression marks, scored joins, and the quiet space around a single vessel — the same empty-field calm we use when a form first leaves the board.
